Why Did Shire Develop This Site?

The ADHD and You website aims to help people understand Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and how it is managed. One particular focus of the site is school-age children with ADHD and what can be done to help them with the challenges they may face.

This site includes tabbed sections for a variety of different audiences because many different groups of people may be involved in the care of people with ADHD.

Please note that this website is not intended to make a diagnosis or take the place of a comprehensive evaluation. Only a health care professional can diagnose ADHD.
